Many new faces at Playscheme!
Another successful two weeks at playscheme! We welcomed some new faces in both the youth and children’s group which was lovely!
It was so lovely to finally be back together again.
The first week was low-key, as shops and outdoor amusements were yet to open. The first week consisted of a fun drama workshop from Handprint Theatre, which was led by Alex and Mary-Jayne, where the children and youth created their own mini-story.
The Easter bunny came to visit and arranged an egg hunt for our children, whilst the youths went to Alexandra Palace for a hike in the sunshine.
The second week of Playscheme meant that we could go out and visit some attractions. These ranged from Go Ape at Alexandra Palace, which is a favourite among our members, to Crazy Golf at Plonk in London Fields. To finish the week off, the children enjoyed a fun-filled day at Chessington World of Adventures!
We had sunshine, rain, and cold weather, but we’d do it all again if we could.
Bring on May half term PS! See you all there!
