Coronavirus Statement
Remark! Community Clubs have been suspended due to
the Government's advice on social distancing.
Considering the government’s announcement on 16 March 2020 regarding Coronavirus, Remark! Community regret to inform you that we need to suspend all our club activities across London at this time.
All our clubs; Sign Club, Youth Club, Remarkable Club, Lunch Clubs, Badminton and Football Club will be closed from today up to 17 April 2020. This is an evolving situation and we are continuing to follow Government and Public Health England advice so that we can monitor and respond accordingly. We will continue to review and provide detailed updates on the impact on our clubs in the coming weeks.
Remark! Community is still open for its members; we are offering remote support during this difficult time, to provide access to the latest news and updates in BSL and to organise volunteers to collect groceries for its most vulnerable members during the outbreak.
Although our members will not be meeting friends at our clubs for a while, we want to help you stay connected with our amazing community across London. Over the coming days and weeks, we will share ideas with you, about how you can continue to enjoy our programme of activities from home and ways to stay in touch with our clubs.
If you have any concerns about your health in relation to Coronavirus, please follow Public Health England advice and contact NHS 111.
use the NHS 111 British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter service at www.interpreternow.co.uk/nhs111
call 18001 111 on a textphone or use Typetalk.
We ask that you continue to follow the government’s guidance on how to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. We will do our best to get our clubs back open as soon as possible but, in the meantime, please stay safe and support each other during this difficult time.
