Clap for our carers

In order to show the public’s appreciation for everything NHS workers are doing throughout the current coronavirus outbreak, a national clapping event was organised in their honour.

On Thursday 26th March at 8pm we joined in the applause. Many of our staff and club members sent us some lovely messages to show all nurses, doctors, GPs and carers our appreciation for their ongoing hard work and fight against this virus. 

Did you know, that in addition to a nationwide round of applause, the “Clap For Our Carers” event was also observed with the lighting up of several significant landmarks.

Sites including the Wembley Arch, the Royal Albert Hall and the London Eye lit up in blue in tribute to the NHS at 8pm.
