Camden Lunch Club waking up Windsor!

On Friday 12th November, our Camden lunch club members were lucky enough to visit the beautiful Windsor Castle! We were blessed with nice weather, apart from a slight shower in the middle of the day. We had a lovely tour guide named Lorna who could sign BSL level 3 herself!

I think we all learnt something interesting from the tour, which included both modern and old history. Apparently, we’d just missed the Queen leaving the castle as well, she must have heard we were coming! The staff were so knowledgeable and were answering all of our questions at a quickfire speed!

The members had some lovely tea and cakes in the castle café before we headed home for the day.

A big, BIG thank you to all the staff at Windsor Castle who were very accommodating and friendly. We were all very impressed with the signing skills of some of the staff. We’ll be back soon, and next time, we will meet the Queen!... Well… Hopefully!
