Caz baking 100 cupcakes for Remark! Community

Hi!

I'm Caz, one of the trustees at Remark! Community. I have experience working in fundraising and support the charity to help raise as many funds as possible for their cause. The work Remark! Community does is so important to prevent the isolation of Deaf children, young adults and the older generation- bringing people together through engaging activities! They really do make an incredible difference to the communities they support!

inspired me to learn sign language

They have inspired me to learn sign language myself and I'm currently studying my level 2, I have been really lucky to experience the joys of the Deaf community, my partners parents are both Deaf, but I have also seen many of the struggles they experience in society too. I'm taking on the Captain Tom 100 to help raise funds and awareness for their work and the wider Deaf community, I'll be attempting to bake 100 cupcakes in 100 minutes and then will share these with my neighbours, hopefully for a donation as well!
