Artistic card from lovely Oak Lodge students

We were over the moon this week to receive a lovely artistic, handmade card from our lovely Oak Lodge students.

For many years now, we have welcomed and supported students from Oak Lodge, and it is an honor to watch them grow into young adults. Over this time, we have seen lifelong friendships form as well as their individual BSL skills and Deaf identity flourish.

Their card has taken pride of place in our office, so all staff members can appreciate it.

It was a pleasure, as always, hosting them all for our Easter Playscheme, it is great to see familiar faces. A big thank you to Remark! Living for taking clients to both playschemes: North London Deaf playscheme and Deaf-SELF Playscheme.

We have lots planned for our next week together in June, hopefully we will be blessed with sunshine! Until then!
