Bowling at All Star Lanes Holborn: A STRIKING day out for Camden Lunch Club!
After a leisurely meeting at our Leather Lane venue, followed by a relaxed chat and a warming lunch of homemade sandwiches, salad and soup, our group headed straight to All Star Lanes Holborn, just a 10 minute bus ride away.
The members grabbed their pairs of shoes and hurried onto the lanes. Perhaps finding a new profession in the art of bowling. The air was filled with tension and excitement as balls were rolled, members caught their footing, and pins dutifully toppled. Many scored impressive strikes and spares: just look at their reactions to masterfully aiming a winning shot!

A special shoutout is owed to our wonderful volunteer Niamh, who had only ever played bowling once in her lifetime, yet somehow managing to get from 6 points all the way to 50 within 5 turns, showing the best improvement amongst the group and perhaps a secret knack that she can explore again in the future!
